RE. MH Iron Maiden exclusive where one of IM said they had a great concept album but after listening to Operation Mindcrime thought it is better. Which is better? Or other eg. Them was '88.

Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son is the only acceptable answer.

Them! Operation is a better concept album, but Seventh Son probably has better songs.

They're both average at best.

Re: Seventh Son VS Operation Mindcrime?
I voted 'other' because I just don't think they are comparable.
Also hard for me since I heard Seventh Son when it came out and always liked it. I didn't hear anything by Queensryche after The Warning until a few years ago when I rediscovered the band and heard Operation Mindcrime for the first time. So I don't know if it's just me because of hearing them in totally different times in my life but I just don't understand how this poll makes any sense.

I was waiting for a chance to sit and listen to it properly and it just slipped my mind. Thanks for the reminder, though, I'll give it a spin tomorrow.

I think the point is they're 2 concept albums that were released within a month of each other back in 88, no other reason...
