It tails off a bit towards the end alright, but it's grand for most of it. A bit 'one-note' though, compared to their later stuff.

I thought Leviathan would be the clear winner, I haven't voted yet, will probably go for BM.

It certainly disappointed me slightly, but I think that's because I was SO blown away by Leviathan. It's still a low- middling 4 fists for me.

Leviathan all the way from me, cant argue with a record that boasts Megaladon, Hearts Alive & Naked Burn.

Iliked Blood Mountain but it seemed to drag on a bit, less said about CTS the better, The Hunter was an improvement. Slightly.

Pretty sure there was a limited digipak release with a live DVD when it came first, it may have been a jewel case though.

I doubt it would have come with a dvd in 2002 mate! They were relatively unknown back then. Would have been too costly for Relapse.

You could be right though, but i don't remember it. Would have been an unusual move for a new band.

I think it was the one wikipedia says is the rerelease from Oct 2003. I can't remember when I bought mine but it was almost certainly that one because it was definitely before Leviathan came out.

^^Yeah, figured it would have been one of the re-releases.

When i bought it in 2002, there was no dvd available. and dvd's generally came with major label releases, not indie metal releases at that point.

Remission and Leviathan are 4 to 4.5 fist records to me.

the rest are probably 3.5 jobs, with maybe the odd four.

Can't believe Remission is 10 years old already!
