Labrat was actually formed as a glam metal band, called the L.A. Brats, but kept getting beaten up by the bigger kids, so had to change their name.

That's so deftly done that it's conjured up the possibility of an 'Alternative Metal Histories' thread, which I think you should have the honour of starting.

I used to take the piss out of one of the guys from Labrat who used to post here back in the 90s, and the L.A. Brat thing was actually his line.

Bathory, Kreator and Megadeth.

Impact is Imminent is missing from the list, a very overlooked album indeed.

For some reason it has the wrong year on my media player so I hadn't added it to my list of missing albums. Was just listening to it the other day. The guitar sound on that album is unique. Even Exodus never matched it again.

Fucking hell, this was difficult but if i look at the ones most listened to 27 years later then it would be suicidial, Master and Slayer, closely followed by Megadave, Sadus and Judas Priest

Not metal but really good calls for 1990 in general! Arguably CT's best - Going Blank Again definitely beats Nowhere though imo.

I need to give Going Blank Again a few more spins, but the 2 or 3 times I've listened to it I enjoyed it.

I think Nowhere is good but a little bit overrated. It has a few standouts like Vapour Trail, but a lot of it is quite forgettable.

Great year, hard to choose, but I went for Rust In Peace, Seasons and Painkiller.

These are better than everything else on the actual list.
