Hello - I'm here. I never check this forum because I agree with Martin Grainger - ha ha

We're almost done with the next Secret Histories, which you'll have to wait to find out about (I'm mean) and we have the next 2 after this one pretty much mapped out ready to go. So there will deffo be 3 this year... watch this space

Now what about Chantler's Motorhead review?

I think the next one is the Secret History of goth, industrial and darkwave judging by the blurb in the latest issue.

disappointing that industrial gets relegated to a sub-part but then Miranda's no doubt rolling her eyes at yet another complaint from me.

MANOWAR and HEAVY METAL.

Hear me out now -

The story of their early years, with the original line up + Scott Columbus interviewed, old pictures, a poster etc.

Also, bands like Exciter, Anvil, Omen, Savage Grace, Manilla Road, Armored Saint, Liege Lord, Metal Church, Nasty Savage, Tytan, Savage, Accept etc. Bands and eras that aren't regularly featured, at least not in great depth.

While a good idea, this would sell about 6 copies.

Stick in Maiden and Priest, call it "The secret history of Iron Maiden and classic metal", a few guest reviewers and famous fanboys, a free compilation and a bonus label sampler from Rise Above or I Hate records. Thats got to sell a few more than 6 copies surely? I'll even buy 2 for me, and some for my friends.

Only because you were too young to have to endure it when it happened.

Er, as my earlier post said, they advertised in the last issue that it will be the secret history of goth, industrial and darkwave.
