 #221
Saw it in WHSmith's, but it seemed about a month late in terms of what it was covering... Anyway, Meshuggah dude is the cover (would have hoped for Anathema to get it) and the co-headliners are Soulfly, Orange Goblin and Cannibal Corpse, with there also being mentions of a tour feature of Mastodon and feature with Anathema, with something from your man from Shining too (probably in light of that compilation he's released of guest stuff he's done).
Anyway, decided not to buy it... Anyone that has, am I missing anything?

 Re: #211
It's not bad, but as with the last few I've just not felt it's been worth it. The only mentions of bands I'm interested seem to be in the review section. Intresting Angel Witch feature I guess. And suggesting Anathea are featured is a bit misleading, as they only get a few paragraphs at the front, plus album of the month. So no actual feature on them.

Very mistaken choice for album of the month it is. 5 fists (little bars) too! They must be joking.

Get Classic Rock instead. AC/DC (Let There Be Rock special) Ronnie Montrose, Rory Gallagher, Iron Maiden (Story of NOTB), Ace Frehley and that crowd of benders you like, Shoeshine or whatever they are called.

Motherfucking mutt!!!
Frank Vincent is one of the best actors to play complete arseholes in the history of cinema and tv.
That movie never gets old for me though. I would watch it right now.

Saying "that crowd of benders you like" to Steev doesn't exactly narrow it down.

 Re: #221
The reason I decided to check these forums after so long is because of this issue. I'm a subscriber etc, but on the cover of 221 it claims Paradise Lost are in the issue as indicated by the inclusion of their name on the cover, albeit at the bottom. The only mention I can find of them however is a quarter page news story about their impending tour. And a full page ad for the new album on the back cover.
I see that they will apparently have a (greater?) feature in 222 according to the advertising for it, and it's not like there is a shortage of Paradise Lost info out there, but I found the front cover reference misleading as there is really jack all about PL in issue 221.
Just saying.

Just saying. It's not a new problem. Part of the reason I haven't read Terrorizer for 2 or 3 years is that there'd often be a cover headline about a band I'd be interested in, but nothing about them within. I can't remember specifics, as we're going back years, but it happened to me more than once - the magazine being sealed in its plastic bag (do they still do that?) made it impossible to check who got what coverage.

 Re: #221
Yeah, it's still sealed. I have noticed that a review (album or live) often receives a reference on the cover, too. This doesn't bother me too much to be honest, but I thought including PL on the cover for a 100 word tour announcement was a little thin.

Got you to buy it, though. Job done. Is the magazine still crap? It's not even sold where I live anymore.
