Where did pages 16 & 17 go? I have duplicate pages of 18 & 19.

 Re: 224
yeah, I also ended up with a double 18/19
I really haven't been impressed with it so far other than the rush interview. Glad I cancelled my subscription (I assume this is the last one of the subscription I paid for), as there's no way I'd have paid for it in the shops. The layout seems to have changed again, which doesn't work as well.
Not since metal hammer put Slipknot on the cover about 4 years have I actually been embarrassed to be seen holding a magazine based on the cover, but well done Terrorizer, you managed it.

Moth wrote: Where did pages 16 & 17 go? I have duplicate pages of 18 & 19. Two Saturdays ago I had a call at 8am telling me there was a problem with the magazine, and that we'd supplied the files with two duplicated pages. Unfortunately it had already been printed, and there's no way I'd have wanted to kill another rainforest by printing two sections of the magazine (and this would have made the mag late on-sale too) so we are left with the duplicated pages. I'm so sorry, but nowhere near as sorry as the person who did this, who has been made to suffer in the most gruesome ways I am able to imagine. The missing pages are an Ahab Studio Report which will be online at some point Thursday, and the subscriptions advert, which has been on-line for a while. Any further problems, feel free to contact me directly Miranda@DarkArtsLtd.comxx

If it saves trees, then that's OK.

Might I suggest any missing pages just get sent with the next magazine?

 Re: 224
So its out Thursday in the shops? Slipknot on the Cover again? Have they something to promote or does Joey Jordison want to tell us what genre of metal lives in which of his organs?

It's an Amen Ra studio report... Lee will be putting it on the website tomorrow.

 Re: 224
Joey Jordison doesn't half talk shite. I think we should have a thread for his daft quotes. Good issue otherwise. I didn't realise Baroness new album was to be released so soon.

 Re: 224
In the beginning blurb for the Rush interview it states that a book is being written in conjunction with the album by a Kevin J. McDonald.
Should be Kevin J. Anderson.

 Re: 224
Got my mag today and despite knowing about this thread, that double page thing fucked me up. I was like, "I thought I just turned the page?!?"
Anyway, looking forward to next month's magazine big time!

 Re: 224
I haven't read through this yet but it looks like a good selection of articles on a good range of bands. Phobia, Candlemass, Burning Love, nice. Why the heck are Rush or Kreator not on the cover though?! Surely getting an interview with Rush is a pretty big deal.
I don't think it's pointless pedantry to say that their probably should have been an extra apostrophe in Lugzan MacBride's review of the new Turbonegro record describing "the negro-boogie of 'Shake Your Shit Machine'" - I read it and thought "are we allowed to still use that word?"

It's usually to blame. Much more so than the sunshine, the moonlight, and even the good times.
