Personally I would've liked more done on Bloodstock. As usual a lot of articles and album reviews about bands I haven't heard of before but I would've preferred if all these were on bands playing the Sophie L and N Blood stages instead.

And big disappointment with the Fear Candy CD. Should have been all bands playing Bloodstock.

There's my big whine for the day!

Bloodstock isn't that big a festival man, wouldn't warrant an entire issue, nor does it have the history of the other festivals in Europe. Surely the articles and reviews should be about bands you havn't heard of to entice you to find and discover new music?

I'm not sure there's much cross-over between Bloodstock-goers and Terrorizer readers anyway.

Green Man seems to be quite over-excitable regarding Bloodstock. I'm worried for him that he's going to get to go and will just be horribly disappointed.

I would have thought of all the music mag's, Terrorizer would be the one that that shares the biggest chunk of it's readership with bloodstock festival goers.

A Bloodstock issue?

It was kind of described as one in the last issue. I got my expectations overly up.

There's lots of bands on the Sophie Lancaster and the New Blood stages they could have done articles on. I could have read about them and then gone and seen them. That's what I was hoping for. And for people not going to Bloodstock, these articles would have still served the same purpose as the ones they did do.

I just got back from Warrington and ventured into WHSmith - what the fuck is going on with the cover shots of Tez? Last month it was Joey "no friends please I am sick" Jordisson, this month Nergal bragging about how he is "fucking owning the stage" at Bloodstock. Why is Tez assuming everyone who reads it is 13 years old? Go on put Ghost on next month why don't ya? I picked up a much more subtley presented copy of Zero Tolerance and have to say I much prefer it's layout and direction to Tez's current stylings.

I'm getting more and more embarrassed walking up to the counter with Tez lately. The content inside is fine but all these big bold statements and daft cover stars make Kerrang look like Ulysses.

I just registered to moan about the cover of this actually. Not because it's aimed at kids, but because it specifically mentions both Deicide and Mayhem, implying, very strongly, that there were decent articles/interviews about those bands included inside the (sealed) magazine.
I stopped buying the mag years ago because I don't know or care who most of the bands in it are - so I was happy to see Behemoth, Testament, Deicide, Mayhem, Nile, Watain AND an article about Machine Head's only decent album too! Sweet!

So where the fuck are Deicide and Mayhem?!

I just looked on the Tez website and saw the Joey and Nergal covers for the first time...

About as subtle as Nuts, at least they have Rosie Jones.

We should dream up some future cover stars and angry young man taglines.

I'm waiting for Tez to sink to the lowest level:

100 Hardest men in metal!

Coming from anyone else, I'd know what context to put that in...
