Haven't got it yet. I'm just excited because of Arch Enemy on the cover. I think this is the first time seeing Alisa White Gluz gracing the cover of so many magazines.

Hot!

The hotness of bandmembers is clearly inversely proportional to the quality of their music, then.

This is true 99% of the time.

Is that even still going?
Fiesta and Men Only were my jazz mags of choice. Either those or whatever hardcore Danish/German/Swedish stuff I used to find by the the railway lines.

Ah, the good old days.

Did you mean jizz? Or were Fiesta and Men Only jazz music magazines?

I remember Samantha Fox on the cover of Club. That was sweet!

No, I meant jazz mags. It's a British thing.
I have no idea how they came to be known as that though.

Frantic strumming perhaps?

When I was growing up, for some reason they were known locally as cock mags.

I've been gone form the UK too long, but on my last visit i noticed that a lot of lads mags have disappeared, so i suspect the market for softcore mags like club, menonly etc must be close to non-existent. i know a lot of US porn mags folded and that was probably close to 10 years ago

I was in a corner shop fairly recently and it had a shitload of porn, it outnumbered the other magazines by 4 or 5 to 1, which surprised me. I don't know how many were foreign or how many had been sat on the shelf for years, I dare say that's illegal but it didn't look like the sort of place that would care.
