How long are these three articles likely to be? I'd rather have it as one feature.

Exactly, finishing off the 200 issue celebration in issue 202 seems a bit odd. Still, as a subscriber I'll read it anyway.

I read it too now. Thankfully, I didn't buy it otherwise, quite frankly, I'd have felt pissed off and....conned.

No doubt scribes etc. will come to defend their decisions and it's leading to something etc. but on this single issue, Issue 200, a huge milestone, this is a fucking missed open goal. A huge wasted opportunity.

You, because i have always wondered what it would feel like to get run-over by a bus.

Louise's editorial: "I wanted to get the opinions of the people who encouraged us to keep this magazine alive [...] the people we've interviewed, drunk with and stagedived to over the past seventeen years."

Bands who pick albums in the 200 albums feature include: Towers of Flesh, Cauldron, Savage Messiah, Decrepid, Nekrasov, Korperswache, Survivors Zero, The Body.

I know it's a cliché to be in the sort to "post shit on an Internet forum", and I do think Terrorizer is still a good magazine that I buy every month without fail, but it did seem a bit of a missed opportunity here. (A bit odd to criticise the editor for not being more self-congratulatory I suppose, but there we go.)

I was about to write "Better than 2008 and 2009", but it probably isn't so far.

No sign of the new Pig Destroyer, though...this is pissing me off more than I would have anticipated it would.

Yeah, this was my only real problem with the feature. It's hard to care about the opinions of people you have NO connection to. I'd prefer to have Tez writers perspectives and as someone else suggested, bringing in some folks who used to write for the mag as a one off is a great idea to enhance that. I have a much better sense of the writers and their tastes than some Brummie grindcore band who've yet to get out of their local circuit.

There has been some strong albums this year....

Swans
Anathema
Rosetta
Ocenasize
Triptykon
Twilight

these are the ones that spring to mind. There are others..but I agree this year hasn't been as consistent with quality.
