tons of snow fell in late november and early dec but it's been above zero most days for many weeks - an hour and a bit south of where i live there have been grass fires made worse by winds so strong they've been blowing semis over into the ditches - it was +14 here a few days ago

trees in some areas east of alberta are budding out they are so confused - i expect they will die when cold weather returns

further to this i saw on the news that this grass fire set homes and trailers on fire, horses died as they could not escape the barn they were in and a trailer full of rescued cats went up as well
