Periodically. I suppose the likes of Facebook inevitably nailed the coffin lid shut on many forums.

I think it's more than that, but that is definitely one of the reasons. The fact that this board has gone offline many times over the years without warning, sometimes even for several consecutive weeks, hasn't helped, neither has Terrorizer's demise as a magazine. Not that many of us read it religiously in its final years, but now that it's gone there is even less of a reason to visit this website.

Here's an idea.... restart the magazine!

Re: COVID-19 self isolation boredom reunion thread ™
In my opinion the forum went stale due to a lack of new members. Terrorizer magazine folded due to magazine format becoming redundant due to the interweb.

The two are connected mate. The mag went down slowly, and less new people found their way to this board as a result. Stale yeh. It's just the same people talking about the same bands. We definitely needed some young blood in here. One of the youngest board members is less interested in new music than most of us though

They're a band with a lot of potential!

I'm amazed that the board is still here at all, every time it goes down I expect it to be terminal. The mag's long gone, as far as I know Miranda's not involved with the publishing company anymore (if it's even still around), but somebody's obviously still paying the bill.

Metal Hammer still does in print mags. But they don't seem to have a website anymore (just some general mag site for subscriptions) let alone a forum.
