Had a fish wrap the other night. Fucking divine! The tastiest and healthiest thing I've ever had from a fish and chip shop. 5 fists!

I was at a Brazilian steak house tonight and while what I ate was tasty, it's really a complete waste on me. I just keep going back to the salad bar and I only ate one very small piece of chicken wrapped in bacon and half of a pork sausage - I didn't even manage to eat any of the beef. I failed.

I used to make curry every week until I got sick of it, but recently I found some recipes that looked interesting

Garlic flavoured wrap filled with various bits & pieces from the fridge (chicken, rashers, scallions, tomatoes, cucumbers, coleslaw, egg salad) x2. Very nice, 4/5.

Striploin (well done, of course), oven chips, mixed veg. Simple but tasty as fuck. Frying the steak in rapeseed oil was a first for me, but it went down extremely well. 5/5.

Rapeseed is just a wanky name for canola. ;)

Interesting. I've never heard of canola, though.

I've always taken canola as the American term, rape or rapeseed the British. Could be mistaken.

Yep. Canola sounds nicer to the US than rape. :D The word is a contraction of Canada and oil or "ola". Another little known fact is that 90 per cent of the world's canola is genetically modified.

We used to grow rape as winter greenfeed for sheep, as an alternative to turnips. Then later, the old man grew oilseed rape for harvest.
