I've heard most of them (Murderdolls, Iowa, Antichrist..., Mushroomhead, SOAD, Deftones, COF), still have some (Antichrist..., Iowa, SOAD) but Antichrist Superstar is the only one I'd still bother with, and even that'd be very seldom. I only listen to Mechanical Animals with any sort of regularity.

Midian was when COF went to shit, but first 2 Deftones and Portrait of an American Family and Antichrist Superstar are all great albums.

No thanks to any of your Disturbed, Mushroomhead, Slipknot, Mudvayne etc excrement.

Disturbed are fucking cunts, whatever age one might be. I'd place most of the others just behind them.

White Pony is a goodun though, and I like a few tunes from the Zombie album. COF did nowt past the debut that interests me, but I have no issue with them.

I was only vaguely aware of them prior to joining this forum and I think the only song I've heard is "the sickness", which was more than enough.

Or even better was the Aussie Rules v Gaelic Football game which was more a fight with a ball involved, or is that my nostalgia glasses malfunctioning?

Compromise Rules, later to become International Rules. It was a great game in its day, once you got the fighting out of the way, but has been so sanitised in recent years that interest is almost nonexistant, to the degree that what was once a three game series is now down to one game. I think it's gone from being annual to every two or three years, too. I can't speak to the Aussie Rules players, but the Gaelic Football game has gone the way of soccer - diving is rife and players are playing the ref. rather than the game. It's shit, I refuse to watch it anymore and I can only assume that the knock on effect on International Rules is the current timidity on the pitch.

i only know of it from the late 70's early 80's when it was on World of Sport and at that time it looked pretty brutal. I didn't know if it still took place.

They don't really advertise it much anymore. I'd rather watch the hurling/shinty games instead.

Ace 70s Japanese show set in ancient China about a bunch of outlaws vs. a corrupt government.
Whe it was screened originally on BBC2 it was insanely violent. The DVDs are cut to fuck.
