I am quite happy to spend some time alone, but not to the point where I start to lose the ability to deal with human contact like some of these guys have (in the documentary).
But then again most of that time is either spent watching movies, eating or gaming.

I think that wanting to spend most of your time alone will lead to you being accused of having mental health issues, certainly. Presumably by the sort of person who just can't grasp the idea that there might be such a thing as someone who isn't as obsessively fascinated with them as they are.

Secrets of Archaeology, episodes 1 - 27.

Think it's by History Channel, and it's not as dull as it sounds. Each episode covers a site or area of mainly the Mediterranean, Europe and the like. Slightly dramatic American commentary, but worth a watch if you are generally interested in Classical history.

Just downloaded National Geographic's Rome Revealed ep 1- 8.

I find it's less awkward if they're asleep... and they don't know you're in their house.

I would recommend her books: Sarah and The Heart is Deceitful Above All Things.

Are they novels or 'autobiographies'?

They are both novels

Fun fact: Asia Argento directed and starred in the film version of The Heart is Deceitful

Anyone who is interested in film scores should appreciate this. It's excellent. I couldn't find a link for it but I'm sure it's knocking around somewhere...

Just watched this, interesting alright. Pretty much everyone involved is a dickhead but it's worth a watch. Not sure I'd be pushed about reading her books TBH.

I watched this last night, definitely worth a look. Infinitely more entertaining than the Foxcatcher movie, though there's no mention whatsoever of Dave Schulz's brother, which is odd as he was the lead in the movie. Presumably fictional, a plot device.

And ignore the overly dramatic trailer above, the documentary itself is much more restrained.

Decent documentary about corrupt cops in '80s New York.
