Blood Into Wine (2010). It features Maynard James Keenan of TOOL. A cool rock star tells technical aspects of making wine.=)

He spoke about his wine making when he was on Marc Maron. Good on him for making a new career for himself.

I'm sure everyone has seen these but the best crime documentaries I've seen are on the West Memphis 3. The Paradise Lost ones and 'West of Memphis'.

Interesting to see how it changes your mind on who did it.

...which they really shouldn't. Considering how Damien, Jason and Jessie were stitched up for the killings, it seems pretty unfair to try to definitively pin it on someone else - despite how guilty they look.

Well due to the stitch up and the plea they had to make when they were released, no-one will ever stand trial again for those murders. The guy will just make a living by attempting to sue the Dixie Chicks.

While I admire Peter Jackson for how much he helped them, it wasn't fair to go after Terry Hobbs as aggressively as they did. I mean the earlier films had tried to point the blame at Byers and apparently got it completely wrong.

Watching this at the moment, it's a look behind the various collaborations arising from the 1991 WOMAD festival. This was the first of three collaborative weeks of recording that eventually came together as the Big Blue Ball album. Interesting viewing.
