Post Podcasts
What podcasts can everyone recommend? The Adam and Joe one is my absolute favourite but they're off air now. Radio 4's Friday Night Comedy is good, of course, and I mega-super-recommend the Deadthyme podcast (where's he gone, by the way?) - excellent show of obscure punk/grind/hardcore/industrial.

What's everyone else's favourites?

Cool, I've been wanting some recommendations too. I used to listen to a lot of radio and podcasts years ago.

http://wordjazz.com/ Ken Nordine's site for his weekly radio show. It has a few podcasts but he never updates it anymore. Could be because he's like 91 years old.

As I said, I enjoy the Radio 4 comedy podcasts. Adam Buxton's Big Mix Tape is nice, funny gentle humour with good music, but then as I already said I am a bit biased when it comes to Adam and Joe.

Dr. Kermode's film reviews is the only one I ever get.

The place to start is the BBC Radio podcast archive. I'd recommend the Friday Night Comedy, Mark Kermode and Simon Mayo's Film Reviews, Collins and Herring, Thinking Allowed, Material World, Making History, Start the Week, Armericana, Dr. Karl and the Naked Scientist and A History of the World in a Hundred Objects. From Our Own Correspondent is occasionally very good too.

In Our Time and Thinking Allowed. Good music podcasts are few and far between. Metal Injection can be ok occasionally.

4Q radio was ok. I haven't heard it for a while though.

There are NO good metal podcasts. None. I defy anyone to name one.

They're all either - goofy as hell and unfunny (Metal Injection livecast), sloppy and inconsistent (Doomed Forever), or just nerdy and with Iced Earth type shitty metal (Metal Injection again), or just loads of waffle (the one that that Snowy guy posts on here every so often.) There's a big opening out there for a really good podcast.

I considered doing one myself, but I know exactly how well that would be received. Heh.

Also, a bloke Gene and I know is responsible for the Hammer of Retribution OGG-Cast. I can't say whether it's any good or not, because I've never managed to endure a whole one. The fellow behind it makes me seem charming and charismatic.
