A small number of Irish people can't seem to hear the "t/th" thing and deny that any Irish people ever do it.

Its not as prevalent here although some do pronounce it that way, but Dubs are notorious for it.

Hence 'Tin Lizzie' becoming "Thin Lizzy", a little joke from Philo and the boys.

Same with Englanders and the 'R' thing. It's common around here, but then I live in a shithole.

Dubs make me laugh with their 'T' issues. Pronouncing the 'it' at the end of words as 'ith' is another one.

"R" thing? Is that "are" vs "oar"?

I've never heard the t/th thing at the end of words, or at least I can't remember it.

Not pronouncing it at all ("caw" instead of "car", for instance) or inserting it where it doesn't go (who the fuck is Jessica Rennis?).

It's common enough in Dubland. Ken Doherty is a cunt for it, when he commentates on snooker he pronounces "pocket" as "pocketh".

A chap I knew, sadly dead now, Galway born and bred followed Munster because he "admired their passion". Fair enough.

What part Andrew? Only scalders are tr00.

Not sure he is right about Leinster fans, there probably are a lot of dentists and doctors who support them I suppose, but most of the ones here seem to be barmen or farmers.

They think that roughly 10% of the population of Ireland are going to see them? Surely there's no country on Earth where 400,000 people would pay to see them?

That is fucking madness.

Its a piss take. Garth Brooks is supposed to play 5 gigs there to about that many people (the shame...) and residents of the area protested about the inconvenience and noise of having 5 gigs in a row there, so they tried to compromise with 3, and now Brooks reckons unless it is the 5 gigs, he won't play at all.

Everyone going should be fucking napalmed anyway, along with that phony non country fucking cunt. The very sight of him makes me want to cry tears of shit, before I even hear his awful music.
