You pay a £3 deposit for the glass, so you basically pay £3 for it if you keep it.

£3 is a lot for a pint glass. I'm in anyway. Gene's one, I'd also like to go to but I'll have to ask my good ol' drinking buddies.

Rightio, this could go off. Andrew has suggested Thursday 5th August. Richie and I can make it, going mid-afternoon would be best I think. The festival website seems to be buggered but I found this page:

http://www.camra.org.uk/

There were 450 beers there last year, those who don't like ale will find some ciders, largers and stouts; although these are only a small perceantge of the total beverages. Who's in?

Excellent! I just happen to be in London between the 3rd and 7th of August, I'd be happy to have a drink with any of you.

Sorry but I can't go:
1, It's in Londinium.
2, No money to fund such an expensive indulgence.

Shit, might have to meet one of you lot now!

All I can say is to get onto the Carma website for it pronto and follow the link(s) for booking the space for the campsite (which is right next to it) as even though on Faceache I said arrangements could be made, not for a group - my folk's back garden isn't that big.

That's fuck all!

You are closer to London than I am, and I go regularly.

It's not the distance. I got lost last time, never again.

Interestingly enough, that is interesting enough for to me bother posting it anyway, there is no apostrophe in Bishops Finger, which makes "finger" a verb.

Bishops finger.
All of them I assume.

I will not be going to this meet up - too far away and I am on a detox which may (or may not) last until the end of August.

Unfortunately I couldn't find Half Man Half Biscuit's "CAMRA man" on You-Tube, but you can hear it here : http://hmhb.co.uk/
Follow the link to Audio, and then Peel Session 5 August 1995.

I noticed that, alright, I just thought it was a typo. I also spelled Shepherd Neame incorrectly.
