I have a day of filleting massive salmon ahead of me, not my ideal choice of task but I just learned how to and want to practice.

and the cats are highly bemused by the fish heads bigger than them on the lawn

Then I have a nice night planned for later. after a bloody good scrub!

For some mystical reasons first topic is locked. So, this is the second edition.
Anyway,

End of the last day (as well as this night) was awesome!I meet a girl, and she is really nice person. She got a boyfriend, but it's absolutely looks like he leave this lady cold. Interesting thing to me - I don't care about him and feel no problems, pain or anything else, what this situation usually could provide. Because i see how I important to this missus, and this is mutually.

And now after two nice day together I am back home. Feel myself peaceful, so, enjoy this glorious moment ;)

I really enjoy reading Andrew Loomis' books. He seemed like a genuine person interested in helping people draw. Which is nice.

Despite having some shitty events in the middle and being a bit ill (even lost my voice for the first time), this week's been really good fun. Had my Master's graduation on Monday which I really enjoyed, and had a fantastically nice early Christmas dinner* with the missus yesterday. A deadline I was worried about has been pushed back slightly too, and even though I'm working both evenings this weekend, the gigs I'm doing are The Hives and Stereophonics, so that shouldn't be too tough. Got a lie in this morning and listening to a new CD, Aretha Franklin's 'Amazing Grace', which is gobsmacking. Actually realised Christmas is on the way too, and looking forward to it.

*Out of interest, since there are quite a few other non-meat-eaters on here, what do you have for Christmas dinner? We tried a Tesco 'chicken' roll thing with stuffing in, covered in breadcrumbs - a bit like a giant chicken kiev, but not bad at all.

Don't know yet. I am not sure how and where I will met New Year. Possibly, with bottle of dark beer or some Cinzano Asti. As for meat, I am love some of tinned stewed meat (which is still very popular in Russia since USSR times) or beef with noodles served with milk sauce filled mushrooms. Check this out, it's cheap and cheerful dish!

I think you misunderstood my question at least twice there, Tragic.

There is a Russian restaurant here in Manchester, I went there once, the food was very good. The pepper vodka was like being punched in the throat, though.
