There were two Cthulhu designs, I nearly bought the other one as well.

I was going to go for the other one, but I didn't. True story.

The Ghostbusters one tonight is nice. Tempted.

Apparently it is yes.

Directed by David Gordon Green and featuring Sam Rockwell and Kate Beckinsale amongst others.

I'm working my way through DGG's films, and this is next on the list.

---

Got some new running trainers the other night, a pair of Karrimor Tempo 3 Mens Trail Running Shoes. I'm a bit miffed though as they have a bit of a shit colour scheme, a sort of grey/blue/yellow thing. But when I've looked on-line they are available in more colours.
But at the time they were the only one's that fit comfortably, and I wasn't made aware of an alternative colour.

why would you bother working through DGG's films when you only gave the first two you saw 3 stars? Ok, well you gave the last one 4, but damn you seem mighty keen! There are far better directors to explore than him :D

I quite liked Undertow which I saw a few months back as well. I think so far GW 3, ATRG 4, Undertow 4, Joe 3, so it's generally above average :p

I feel like once I've committed to an idea I should see it through, plus having started on his two shorts, I feel like I've really been able to see and appreciate his development as a director. There's something about the freedom and 'naturalness' to the way he works that whilst not always hitting the mark, still appeals to me.
That said, I'm soon approaching his 'comedy trology' which doesn't interest me half as much as his more 'indie' films.

I'm thinking Michel Gondry once I've finished with DGG, for no other reason than I really liked Mood Indigo, and my brother really rates The Science of Sleep.

The good thing about modern directors is that they generally don't churn out a film a year like many of the old ones did, which makes exploring their filmographies a bit daunting really.

I want to see Manglehorn. I got mixed reviews, but I'd love to see Pacino in a low key film like that.

Yeah, A mate of mine tried going through the filmography of the likes of Woody Allen and John Ford. I think he pretty much spent a fortnight on each watching one or two each day, and still didn't end up coming close.

Deicide - In The Minds of Evil limited edition box version with sticker, flag, and patch gubbins. Wasn't going to bother with the limited version but I found it at a market yesterday for less than the normal version is on Amazon.

Black Sabbath - Generals Gathered In Their Masses DVD.
£3 from the same place.

Has anyone bought CDs through Discogs sellers, if so is it a decent service, are there any stupid setbacks or catches I should be aware of? Never used them before, just signed up to order a CD.

Bought some records off there, but I think it just depends on the individual seller. Just like ebay. Always got decent service though.

As you'd expect, so. I don't have a Paypal account or anything, so that might be an issue. You can use your card to pay through Paypal though, right? I bought the The King Is Blind CD through Paypal, I can't remember the details, though...

Edit: Fuck it, I set up an account. See what happens.

Get a Paypal account, you weirdo. It is 2014. You are also more protected using it should something go wrong.

Discogs is fine. I've used it three or four times in the past with no complaints. Like eBay really, check the sellers feedback, shipping rates, item description then go from there. Feedback is key.
