I tend to not be able to go to sleep until between 1 and 2 am, regardless of how tired I am. Wake up around 6 and go back to sleep for 20-50 mins, depending, Monday to Friday, sleep til about 8 on a Sat, then up at 6 with Oliver so Mel can lie in on a Sunday. Very little variation to the above.

I work permanent nights so my pattern is all over the place

Right now I'm getting between 5 and 7 hours, albeit broken. Sometimes it's even less.

I usually need about 9 hours or so. Come weekends I can sleep more than that.

I usually get around 8 hours, apart from the odd night I can't seem to get to sleep but that doesn't happen too often.
I usually gey a bit less on a weekend as I go to bed later yet seem to wake up earlier.

8 to 10 hours usually. I could happily go for a 2 to 3 hour cat nap in the afternoon too. I've been known to spend full Sundays in bed after drinking on Friday and Saturday. Staying in bed is so much better than getting up and facing the world. Someday I might go to sleep and not wake up.

To answer the question, usually between 7-8 hours.

Could be adrenal fatigue. Looked into it? It's caused by a lack of good minerals/bad sleep pattern and so on. I still feel tired some days but since making an effort to get more sea/rock salt that hasn't been bleached into my diet it's leveled out the tired/lethargic feeling some what.

EDIT: I average 7 hours.

Yeah i have looked into it and tried to get treated for it. I didn't respond well to hormone treatment. It made me really anxious and i couldn't sleep well at all. Perhaps mineral is the way to go, but i think the problem has to do with sleep.

I avoided salting my food for a good few years until recently because of the sodium thing. Problem is "Sodium" in food doesnt have the minerals. Salt isn't bad, we need it, but a lot of salt in food or table salt is just bleached without any minerals.

Anyway eating better and cutting out as much processed and adding more rock salt helped me. Might be worth trying anyway as its only a simple change.

It's not very good at all. I figure it was a con created by people buying into the trend of "Salt/Sodium being bad". Sodium isn't bad, it's just that for years people were eating table salt without any of the shit that keeps us balanced.

Salt of today is not the same Salt that was traded and fought over. Rock/Sea Salt and a grinder are your best bets.

Seems I've done nothing but sleep the last few days.
Got labyrinthitis and a few other bits and pieces wrong and the tablets I've been taking have been knocking me out like a light. Spent most of the last two days in bed.

They've given me some mental dreams though.

Earlier, I dreamt the outside of my house was covered with ants, there was a giant spider on the stairs, and my youngest daughter kept trying to play with a nasty looking black scorpion on the front lawn.
And then I was Peter Cushing.

Labyrinthitis is a metal sounding ailment if I ever heard one. Get well soon Spiny. I hope you have a cosplay wet dream.

I know that feeling.

And since then have gone to 9-5 and still have a messed up pattern. My body just gives out sometimes on weekends and I crash for some number of extra hours.

I often wake up a 6am regardless of what time I go to sleep. I average between 6 and 7, but can function reasonably well on 4.

I tend to fall asleep as soon as my head hits the pillow.

All fit and fine again now. Just coping with the usual stress of having the kids waking us up at Stupid O'Clock every morning.

I'm switching between nights and days at work, so my sleep pattern is all over the place, but naturally I get about 8 hours, though if I drink it's solid sleep, if not then I'll wake a few times so probably get around 6.
