Narcos Series 3 - brilliant.

Doesn't lose any steam following the Pablo story line conclusion in series 2.

Cannot wait to see where they go next. Epic.

Agreed. Fantastic series.
I read At the Devil's Table last year, so I knew what was going to happen for the most part. Lots of things were changed, dramatised for extra effect, or just left out, but it was still a great show.

Although nothing's been confirmed yet, it would appear that they're moving on to El Chapo next, even though Netflix have already done a series about him.

Twin Peaks is over and my brain is happy again.
I no longer have to go to bed on Monday nights looking like this.

The Walking Dead. Series 8 Episode 4.

More of the same old shit that peaked when David Morrissey was in the show. Sure, Negan is cool but the rest of it isn't.

I'm still enjoying it. Best episode so far this season, tonight. They've gone full on for the All Out War story from the comic books but now people are moaning that it's just one long gun fight.

Ffs. For seven seasons people complained incessantly that it was moving too slowly, needed more characters and more action, and now it's become more action oriented and has a bigger cast, people are complaining because it hasn't got enough story and nobody can remember anyone's names. Seriously, if I was a TV writer, I'd have shot myself in the tits by now.

Gunpowder - watched the first episode and never went back to it.
The execution scene was way too over-hyped, and the final scene was just laughable. "My name is GUY FAWKES!".
Go away.

Season 2 of The Exorcist is building nicely. The latest episode was intense as fuck.

The wife's got me watching Outlander because she likes romance and shirtless ginger blokes in kilts. I like tits, front bottoms and violence, so we're both happy.

Neflix hit two home runs recently with The Sinner(Jessica Biel goes to the beach with her family and stabs a bloke to death for no apparent reason) and Mindhunter (semi-fictionalised account of how profiling serial killers became a thing). I watched The Sinner in two sittings (seven episodes one night, the finale the next morning) and I did Mindhunter in three. The guy playing Ed Kemper deserves an Emmy, and the chap playing Jerome Brudos will creep out many a young lady.

Vice Principals has been much better this time out. Hoping the final episode lives up to the rest of it.

Z Nation is treading water badly at the moment. Two good episodes so far this season. No consistency and nobody in the cast seems interested any more. Even Henry Rollins was going through the motions. It's like they've just completely run out of ideas now.

Stan Against Evil returned, but was even less funny than the first season. I am no longer watching Stan Against Evil.

Agreed on both counts.

Anyone seen Big Mouth yet? It's this "Netflix Original" adult cartoon about a group of kids going through puberty. Imagine the kids off Family Guy and American Dad getting their own show, throw in a ton of jokes about body fluids etc and you're just about there.

Watched the first four episodes but haven't felt the need to return to it. The girls period episode was basically made up of facts and commonly recognised observations written into a perfunctory story.

I watched the whole thing. It gets more surreal and fucked up towards the end, which was good. Dunno about the bit where they referred to a table which refused to dance during a Bar Mitzvah as the 'Anne Frank Table' though...

Tore through the second season of Wolf Creek over the last couple of nights.
Pretty good. Very little in the way of story (mad Aussie, Mick Taylor, hunts a coach load of tourists, killing them one or two at a time in appropriately brutal ways) but it's nice and suspenseful, and never boring.
None of the needless side missions or origin flashbacks of the first series either. Just straight up hunting and murder, with a darker than usual Taylor, who, although he still chuckles while offing his victims with a wink and a cheeky grin, doesn't do it in quite so much of a pantomime villain way like the first season or the second movie. Also features a quite superb shotgun-to-the-face death.

Oh, and the second season of El Chapo is excellent.

D A R K on Netflix is the best show I've seen Ina long long time, can't recommend it highly enough.

Second season of Wolf Creek was pretty good.
No meandering, back story, or pointless side-missions like the first season. Just a load of people getting systematically and brutally murderlised by a barking mad Aussie.

Unsurprisingly, the first episode of the new X-Files is all a bit of an incoherent muddle.
Half the episode is spent trying to clear up the mess left at the end of the last series, while the other half just ends up making an even bigger one.

I've watched the first three episodes. Might not suit a sensitive little soul like yourself, but I like it. ;)

I tried but immediately stopped when I realised it is dubbed.

You can change it to subtitles with the original audio.
