I've watched the first three episodes. Might not suit a sensitive little soul like yourself, but I like it. ;)

Nah, just looked crap.

I tried but immediately stopped when I realised it is dubbed.

You can change it to subtitles with the original audio.

I'm refusing to watch it in protest.

Looking forward to Britannia on Sky Atlantic (I think). Romans, ancient Britons, swords, violence and Kelly Reilly. That'll do me...

Do the Romans wear Fred Perry?

I was looking forward to it 'til the trailer dropped. Mr. "I am Rome!" killed my interest.

Yeah, that did sound quite shite. My hopes aren't exactly stratospheric, but it's very much my type of thing so I'll give it a go.

Currently watching Outsiders on Netflix. The Walton's meets Deliverance but in a good way.

Watched the entire series in one night. Great stuff.

Glad ya liked it.

Started on Lilyhammer. The initial premise is a bit silly, but I'm enjoying it. Pays to have subtitles for all the Norwegian bits. ;)

New X-files has been hit and miss. Last week's was brilliant though. So stupid.

First half of the new season of Vikings has been great.
Now there's the wait until the second half.

Agents of SHIELD is still excellent.

I still have most of the last season of AOS to catch up on. Is there any point in watching The Inhumans? I've heard nothing positive about it, but if there's any crossover shenanigans...

Is this Season 4? I thought it was shit to start off with but soon picked up.

Season 5 of AOS

Do not watch Inhumans.
Utter rubbish. It was cancelled before it even aired and I couldn't even make it through the pilot.

Never watched TV until someone gave me a box - now I watch Wheeler Dealers & Fantomworks religiously.

Does The Punisher improve at all? I'm 8 episodes in and it's dull as dishwater, Iron Fist bad.

Well, I finally watched Britannia. What a load of old shite. The new Troy show on BBC would appear to be equally dull, at least on the basis of the first episode. Some great tits, though...

New episode of The Walking Dead...was good. Not as good as the Governor-era or Series 7 but an improvement on recent episodes. Mainly because naked sculpting scrapyard people who talk like retards weren't in it.

Really?
The Punisher is brilliant. My favourite of all the Netflix Marvel TV stuff by a mile.

Which reminds me. Season 2 of Jessica Jones in a week or so.

Been watching Waco for the last few weeks and it's been very good, although there has been a definite tendency towards siding more with the Branch Davidians than the FBI/ATF. Just acquired the final episode so it'll be interesting to see who they blame for the fire. The FBI have always maintained the Davidians did it themselves, even though they denied using incendiary tear gas at the time but eventually had to admit they did.

The Walking Dead wasn't exactly a chucklefest this week. It definitely needed a special episode to do what they did, but I don't think it needed to be an hour long.

Ash vs Evil Dead is back and just as brilliantly messy as before.

Painfully shit opening episode aside, the new (and final, apparently) series of The X-Files has been relatively good so far. Certainly better than the last one they did. Sure, a couple of episodes have felt like recycled mash-ups of old stories, but overall it's... decent.

Yep, finished it the other night and found it poor overall. Turned Castle into a sulky, whiny irritant, rather than the focussed killing machine he is in the comics. There was a decent episode here and there but overall it was one of the worst, Luke Cage being the best. AND WHERE THE FUCK WAS ROSARIO DAWSON? I know that it's a spin off and there was no reason for her to show up, but still.

Actor playing him is terrible, too. His entire technique seems to be to swing his head from side to side to indicate his emotional state. Apparently he was the same in The Walking Dead.

Post subject:  Re: The TV Thread.

It's a first season. He'll probably become more like he is in the comics as time progresses. But also, as the protagonist, he will have to be humanised more for TV as it's difficult to sympathise with an emotionless killing machine. You never know though, he might turn up to do his more ruthless stuff in someone else's show, and make him more of an antagonist there.

All I know is that Bernthal's my favourite Punisher to date by some distance.
He really only did the headswing thing towards the end of his time on TWD when he went a bit mental. He does like rubbing the top of his head too.
