Saw that a while back, it's very decent. Top quality fan films are turning up all over the shop these days. The Punisher one starred Thomas Jane and Ron Perlman FFS.

It is, and ten times better than the Jane-starring feature length film.

It's not a patch on the criminally underrated Punisher: War Zone, however.

Judge Minty is also great. It's been out there for a while now. It looks better than either of the big-budget Dredd films (as far as the budget permits), but they could have done a better job of casting Dredd himself.

I finished off the rest of Sin City last night. It's interesting how Miller's art actually deteriorates over the course of the series.

Pretty much, yeah.

Sin City is fun for a few volumes if you don't know enough about Miller to realise that it's not a self-aware exagerration but is ACTUALLY HOW HE SEES THE WORLD, but the quality rapidly nose-dives after That Yellow Bastard.

Just finished reading Guardians of the Galaxy vol 2 (2008) it didnt half drag on. It did pick up towards the end though.

New Deadwardians is good, a well-thought out and executed take on both vampires and zombies that manages to be original without being different for the sake of it. Good understanding of the period too, and it feels as though he's set it then for actual artistic reasons rather than some bullshit "steampunk" trend. Dan Abnett is rapidly rising to the top of my Authours That Am Incapable Of Exerting My Critical Faculties Or Discernment Towards, though, so it might be less enjoyable for someone who isn't already blowing him off. Don't know Punk Rock Jesus.

I make spelling and grammatical mistakes on purpose to appear neurotypical. Don't break my masquerade.

Thx Richie. I'm guessing he picked those two because he knows i like horror and aggressive music.

He is a massive comic book fan and has been trying to get me into them for years and occasionally lends me stuff. The little knowledge i have comes from him basically

I finally started reading Ferals after having seen the adds for it on the Crossed books.
I have really liked them so far. Obviously, it is extremely violent, although still far from Crossed, and much less Hollywood-werewolvey than I expect it to be.

Those comics from Avatar Press look really interesting.

As a huge Ennis' Punisher, The Boys and Preacher fan, are there any comics out there you can recommend?

My mate got me GI Joe v Transformers #1 for my birthday. He was at a comic-con and reckoned it was ideal...

Not bad, think I may get the set. Good to see Cobra Commander with the hood.

Doing a John Constantine costume for Halloween because I couldn't come up with anything else.
