Blood and Black Lace and Kill Baby Kill have some really masterful moments.

It's customary to refer to Bava as just a prototype for guys like Argento, but he was a better craftsman with a more fluid, although less flashy, style.

Do you have the digipak with 2 bonus tracks? That's what I'm after but the Japan version has a completely different bonus track!

No this is the jewel version.

It might be the only Amorphis album I've bought the jewel edition of since 2003!

Probably shouldn't have but HMV still have a sale on Arrow blu ray so wanted to take advantage of it whilst it was still on.

Black Sunday is cool. Baron Blood is one of the worst Bava's I've seen.

I said I wasn't going to order anything for a while. Then Arrow did their summer sale....

New version? Anything of interest in the extras?

Came out in 2014. I didn't really look at the extras but apparently there's both the English and Kraut versions, a Herzog commentary (no idea if it's in German or English) and some old 'making of'. It's Region A locked, btw...

Ah right. Cheers. (I really should have spent a bit more and bought a multi-region BR player.)

We've only had ours a few months. The old player just packed up and we got a good deal on a brilliant little Sony yoke for about £140.

Sounds alright. I spent around the same on mine a couple of years back, a Samsung smart/3D player. I don't have a 3D TV, not a fad I bought into, but the smart function is handy.

Most of the big companies have stopped manufacturing 3D TVs now. That shit is dead in the water (as a home format, anyway).
