A sleeveless Commando t shirt, that must have been something special.
Especially when matched with my flat top/mullet combo and brown framed spectacles.
It's tempting
Red Heat does have some good lines

I never realised until the other week that Sub-Zero was played by Erland Van Lidth, the guy who played Grossberger in Stir Crazy.
He only actually appeared in four films (Alone in the Dark and The Wanderers being the other two) before he died in 1987.

You are right on all counts except one, he didn't play Sub Zero he played Dynamo. Sub Zero was played by Professor Toru Tanaka

I'm going to have to watch The Running Man again, just to make sure I don't ever make that same schoolboy error. I know it's been a few years since I saw it last but there's just no excuse for that level of wrongness.

It's as good a reason as any to go watch it again It's almost like you planned it!

Watched this for the first time in years the other night. Fuckin Superb. Not only do they not make quality action films like this any more they don't do quality film posters like this either.
You're looking at it all wrong "technically" it's not a good action film but judging it using the set 80s/early 90s action film parameters it's brilliant.
Kickboxer and Blood Sport are the 2 absolute classics for me. Hard Target in 3rd place. His cheesy acting/accent/dress sense in the early films is genius.

"Don't fuck with the baldies" classic line from a classic film. Don't think i've ever seen Alone in the Dark though, but Stir Crazy and Running Man are obviously classics as well.

Hard Target and Timecop were fucking awful, even in the context of cheesy action moves of the time.
