I've never seen it.

I'd probably like it.

So it's not as good as 'Stop Or My Mom Will Shoot' then?

Of course. T2 was made more viewer friendly and a lower rating to get more people to watch it, it was an obvious move to make the franchise huge. T1 is a phenomenal film, the others aren't a patch on it, but they are all entertaining enough films.

This. Can't be doin with folk knockin T2 just because they made it more blockbustery. It's still fuckin brilliant.

T3 though. I don't acknowledge.

I've never seen Stop or My Mom'll Shoot. That and Oscar are on my scraping the bottom of the barrel must buy Sly list. You would definitely like Cliffhanger.

Quote:
Demolition Man is decent, but to me it seemed like a bit of a drop after Cliffhanger. The Specialist is one of those so-bad-it's-good films. Rod Steiger's performance has to be seen to be believed. Even by his hammy standards it's incredibly bad.

Always took Demolition Man to be the peak of 90s Stallone.

Rod Steiger's perfomance is something special. When I first seen this when I was about 10 I obviously didn't have a clue who he was, but watching it the other night, you are left thinking what the fuck am I watching here.

Seriously, it's really funny, and not in a crap way, but in a tongue in cheek Sly having a dig at himself kind of way.

I was dubious but I was talked into it and thoroughly enjoyed it.

I don't think I've seen it either. That's the one with Sophia from The Golden Girls in it, right? I think that's what put me off.

I don't think anyone has tried to say that Stop is better than T2, Trig.

T2 isn't as good as T1, and Stop is one of Sly's funnier / better films, but the two weren't being compared.

Even my taste isn't bad enough to try to claim that one.

T2 deffo isn't as good as T1 although it's still fucking great though. Kinda heralded the 90's for me.

Stop was fucking awful from what I remember. Even Estelle Getty couldn't save that movie.

You remember wrong about Stop Trig, it's ace,

T2 is indeed very good. Like I said, I just watched it to death as a kid. Same with Aliens, which is also an undisputed classic film (shut it Stat, just because it's not got mime in it...).
