It's Christmas and there's been a shit load of Bond on (or seemed to be), so Bond!

2 options in the poll because Connery is the obvious choice so it's really to see who's second and third. Brosnan was shit. Craig hasn't been much better, but his films are well done. Moore and Dalton for second and third. Moore for the Carry On style he did and Dalton for the back to evil Bond style he did.

Best films are From Russia With Love and Goldfinger. Worst was Quantum of Solace or Tomorrow Never Dies

Hottest Bond chicks were Barbara Bach, Ursula Andress, Halle Berry, Carey Lowell, Monica Bellucci.

Monica Bellucci would have been one of the hottest Bond chicks 12-15 years ago. She is getting on now. She still looks good but not good enough to put her in the top category anymore.

Connery for the win of course, but James Bond films are pretty average most of the time.

All I saw in your post there were the words Monica Bellucci, Statters. There was some other stuff, but....Monica Bellucci.

Worst Bond movie was Moonraker as that was just an excuse to ride Star Wars coat-tails and was also too far fetched even for Bond standards. Jaws being turned into a joke didn't sit well either.

Connery was clearly the best, but my personal favourite was Moore.

Daniel Craig and Roger Moore. Not seen 'em all, but of those I have, Skyfall the best and The Living Daylights the worst, although View To A Kill was pretty shit too.

Ditto.

Live and Let Die is clearly the best film.

Connery>Craig>Brosnan.

Casino Royale>Die Another Day

Spectre is 4 fists.

The worst one was easily Quantum Of Solace. The evil villain's big scheme wasn't world domination or bringing about a massive war but putting a few people's water bills up. So what?

I preferred QOS to Spectre, frankly.

Went for Connery (obviously) and Craig. Moore is appalling, but I fucking love Live And Let Die. Mainly for its terrible, terrible blaxploitation buzz but more importantly: Jane Seymour. Jaysus. It also has the best line in Bond history: "The name's Bond, James-" "Names is for tombstones, baby."

Bond is shit.

I have to give the best Bond to Connery, with Brosnan and Moore tied for second place. Dalton was good, though. Licence To Kill is actually pretty dark and grim by Bond standards, as Bond goes rogue on his own personal vengeance mission.

Lazenby just wasn't up to snuff, which is a shame as OHMSS is a very good Bond film which follows the book pretty faithfully [right down to one of the henchmen skiing into a snow blower] and with Connery in charge it'd be a 5 fist classic.

Best Bond girl is the blonde one in From Russia With Love, can't recall her name.

Best villain is Janus. A personal betrayal/vendetta and revenge mission always adds an edge. Scaramanga is another favourite for me too, as he shows what Bond could have become had he taken an alternative career path.

The only problem I have with the Craig films is that they feel like they're trying to be too hard to be something other than a Bond stereotype, and at times it feels like I'm just watching the Bourne franchise or the Transporter or something. Slightly featureless at times, although still some great bits.

Anyway, rankings. The top one is mainly down to sentimental value, I realise it's got some fairly large flaws otherwise. I'm pretty sure about the top 5 and the bottom 2, but the others switch around a lot.

1. You Only Live Twice
2. Dr. No
3. Goldeneye
4. Live And Let Die
5. Goldfinger
6. Thunderball
7. From Russia With Love
8. The Spy Who Loved Me
9. The Man With The Golden Gun
10. Casino Royale
11. Skyfall
12. A View To A Kill
13. Spectre
14. Licence To Kill
15. On Her Majesty's Secret Service
16. For Your Eyes Only
17. The Living Daylights
18. Octopussy
19. Tomorrow Never Dies
20. Moonraker
21. The World Is Not Enough
22. Quantum Of Solace
23. Die Another Day

Die Another Day is total shit and is only redeemed by the fact Rosamund Pike is in it being marvellously ice-queen like.

Haven't seen Diamonds Are Forever.

Worst Bond girl?

Her off 'The Living Daylights'. The cello playing sniper who looked - and sounded - like she was suffering a concussion.

Shir Shaun is the best, Moore is crap but still enjoyable.

Brosnan was a decent Bond and Goldeneye was great. But then it went downhill.

1. Diana Rigg (On Her Majesty's Secret Service)
2. Eva Green (Casino Royale)
3. Jane Seymour (Live And Let Die)
4. Famke Janssen (Goldeneye)
5. Carey Lowell (Licence To Kill)
