Post To EU or not to EU?
Might as well ask????

I'm still mulling it over, that said the utter bullshit that's been spewed so far is fairly amusing, it's only going to get better.

I hope we leave the EU and all Mali's Gay EuroGoth CDs are confiscated.

Well, there's good solid leftwing reasons for flipping off the EU, given that it is a privileged club for the boss class. But the narrative has been entirely taken over by fringe lunatics, many of whom have digested a non-stop series of stories about how an unholy Frog/Kraut alliance wants to straighten our bananas and ban RE lessons, blah blah.

What I do object to is the Leave brigade banging on about British sovereignity. They don't give a damn about British sovereignity. They just think the EU is the wrong hegemony to be absorbed into. They would quite happily sell us all out (even more than now) to international corporate interests and turn London into Singapore and the rest of the UK into an equivalent of rural American dustbowl towns, with about as much future. While attempting to use gormless patriotism (it's the Queen's 90th, it's Euro 2016) as a barely adequate sticking plaster.

Is there anyone, anywhere in the UK, I mean pundits, commentators, etc., who honestly and seriously think for one single second that there will be a successful vote for a British exit from the EU?

Firmly out but I predict the Remain vote is going to win 2:1. The leave side has been dominated by the knuckle-dragging nativist right for years. Nigel Farage and his mob of retards and sycophants are the EU's biggest asset in Britain. Endless decades handcuffed to the EU corpse while the rest of the world laughs and leaves supranationalism behind. Ho hum.

And the entire idea of Boris Johnson or any member of the Tory party higher ups being a Brexiteer is laughable. He's written far too many europhile puff pieces. He's just positioning himself to take advantage of the upcoming Tory civil war go he can get to be in number 10. It's meaningless.

The Remain side have the support of every major party in the UK (Including the Tories - they have always been the party of in) the legacy media and the BBC. The leave side has George Galloway and Nigel Farage. It's a massacre. An utter massacre.

Probably not, but we can hope. DC's comments in the house have chopped his back up plan though, he'll be laughed off if the vote goes Boris' way and he wants another vote.

Plus, if that fucking Sturgeon woman wants another independence vote, she can have it. But seeing as the North Sea Oil which they were predicting would make them a sort of cold Saudi Arabia, seems to have dropped through the floor like a curved Tesco croissant... what exactly are they going to be living off?

And they are welcome to Euro too, cos they can fuck off if they think they're keeping the pound.

I think Boris is great. Finally a likeable politician. Although I'm sure it's all an act...

Boris' stance, such as it is, is "vote Leave so I can be PM and then negotiate better terms than Cameron did with the EU so we can stay/rejoin". Even by the degraded standards of politicians, he is spectacularly self-interested.

In any case, your big businesses, FTSE 100, do very well out of EU involvement, and without wanting sound conspirazoid, the notion that governments have the whip hand over the City rather than vice versa is laughable. What those guys want, those guys get. We'll be staying.

While the absurd, apocalyptic claims made by both sides will be spectacularly tedious, I'm quite looking forward to Dave and co. tearing themselves apart over the same issues that did for the Major government. They dragged out jeering at Labour's internal ructions for as long as they could, but now they're going to have to focus on their own.

Don't let Boris fool you, it's an all an act, he's worse than Thatcher in reality, horribly right wing.

I'm sure you're right... ultimately we'll be staying. I can well imagine the utter bullshit that they will wheel out to persuade the swing voters. I can imagine every big business will be lining up to say they will be leaving the country and taking all the jobs with them. Utter bollocks of course, but no doubt the public will fall for it. Best hope is for a low turnout and apathy from the don't knows.

I saw this earlier. We're not even getting a noble death, christ.

An undignified and well-deserved curbstomp for the leave side it is.
