Going to The Soundhouse to see The Chameleons is much better than going to The Alma.
The alma does have a good table football game ,a nice pub in my opinion.
It's not the pub I have the problem with really, or the people that go in there. The Landlord is a big tool.

The Dillinger Escape Plan in a few weeks' time, with Maylene and the Sons of Disaster and new Roadrunner posterboys Periphery as the supports.

Periphery are a Sumerian Records band. Unless they're being distributed by RR over there in Oz.

Unfortunately this show is not actually in Nottingham now. Apparently it got moved to Manchester about a week ago for whatever reason and The Mongoloids MySpace is broken so they cannot change the listing.

Re: Next Gig
Although perhaps not exciting for anyone else but me.. on Thursday I am going to drive to Birmingham, which will be the first time I have driven on a motorway alone!!! Yesss. And then when I drive back I will be driving AT NIGHT, ON A MOTORWAY! HOLY SMOKE!!
Anyway, whilst in Birmingham, I am going to go to two gigs. I will go see Deez Nuts and Break Even, wherever they may be playing, and then DRIVE to the Asylum to see Benediction and Bolt Thrower. Although I probs won't see all of Bolt Thrower, as I said I'd give Dave a lift home as soon as Benediction finish. And err.. giving lifts to people is still exciting, even more so than watching Bolt Thrower it seems.

Deez Nuts are playing Eddies Rock Club . I would be going but I'm out for a friends Birthday instead. Enjoy it!

Ohhh Eddies is a bit rubbish isn't it?! I haven't been to the "new" one, but the old one was crap. And had grumpy staff. I am not going to stay long enough to watch Deez Nuts, as the two gigs will overlap. I will have to time it all right. I mostly want to meet one of the support bands at Eddies as I have been doing some work for them, but never actually met them.

The new one is fucking awful. There's some terrible shitty cyber-punk/goth bar in the basement too, thats fun for laughing at people, but thats about it.
