 Last album you deleted...
Same as the downloaded thread, but for the ones that didn't make the grade.
Visceral Bleeding - Remnants Of Deprivation
Silly and generic blasting death metal. Recommended by a pal here but I couldn't remain open-mined after the first track.

Lock-Up - Necropolis Transparent
Blasting by numbers. Really disappointing from them.

 Re: Last album you deleted...
I will prob end up as one of the most frequent posters in this thread. Of late :
Immortal Technique "The Martyr" - simply awful Talbot "Eos", DreamTime "DreamTime LP" & Ice Dragon "The Burl, The Earth, The Aether" - all for being half decent doom/stoner/sludge musically but vocally shite and not living up to the standard of the music.

Piarevaracien - Торны Шлях
It was my token Belarusian album for quite some time despite not listening to it, however when I got round to it, it was just a bit too lacklustre for my liking.

 Re: Last album you deleted...
I couldn't get past what I saw as the cliches. Plus, I generally really don't like that style anyway, so it was unlikely to survive long with me.

 Re: Last album you deleted...
I don't generally like Death Metal in general so why I do like it is even more of a mystery.

The Eight Hands For Kali album, I think. Loved the EP but the album was fairly shit.

The principle being my utter disdain for Metallica. stealing it = partial endorsement of the LP...I refuse to do this....

I've heard a couple of minutes' worth. I foresee being able to say the same on my deathbed.

 Re: Last album you deleted...
Hmmm, this week has seen the culling of:
Nightwish: Angels Fall First, Century Child (I never listen to them, and the others are better) Overkill: I Hear Black, W.F.O., The Killing Kind, From the Underground and Below, Necroshine, Coverkill, Bloodletting, Killbox 13, ReliXIV, Immortalis (2007) Opeth: The entire discography. I've tried too many times. They're not for me and I cannot be arsed to try again with them. Any of them. Nocturnal Rites: The entire discography. But I've just re-D/L'd it cos I was grumpy and musically restless the other day when I deleted them all after being underwhelmed by the first 2 tracks of the debut the other day (despite having had the second album since it came out and liking it). But I hadn't synced up to my pod since and a track came on on shuffle today that was a belter, so will listen to them all again and judge on an album by album basis Fleshgod Apocolypse: Newest one. Bored of it already. It's lost it's shine. Myrath: Something about sand. Yeh, it was alright, decent even, but I know I'd never listen to it Ozzy: Various tracks from Blizzard, Diary, Bark and No Rest... and the majority of Ozzmosis
I think that was all... Oh, I did to Nevermore what I did to Nocturnal Rites (though I kept Dead Heart... cos I've always really liked that) - even down to the random track on the pod! The pod must've known and played a quality tune off of Obsidian Conspiracy, so I re-DL'd that, Godless Endeavour and Dreaming Neon Black cos I know I like them, I was just pissy about tunes the other day. I think the sheer quantity of Overkill that I had pissed me off lol

 Re: Last album you deleted...
Some two track EP by an instrumental doom/stoner band called Iron Hills - not bad but not worthy of the precious space on my ever shrinking hard-drive.

Nocturnal Rites: In A Time of Blood and Fire
Perfectly reasonable album, but I'd never listen to it. A tentative start and there's much better stuff on their later albums.
