 Your first band t-shirt
Mine may have been a black t with an orange AC/DC but I definitely had one of these very early on..... Real cheapo one. I still have somewhere it I think. I also had this very soon after then... Got really torn and probably got thrown out.

 Re: Your first band t-shirt
It was this one I think: My first hoodie was a Slipknot "Pinhead" one.

A bootleg Iron Maiden one of an Eddie head biting the logo from inside cover of 7th Son.
Then a proper 7th Son album cover shirt

 Re: Your first band t-shirt
Best picture I can find given my actual shirt is at my girlfriends as she sometimes wears it in bed now. Back in 2002, purchased from Sports Soccer of all places I seem to recall. Soon followed by a dance of death tour shirt which is well on it's way to turning white it's been warn that much.

 Re: Your first band t-shirt
I had the words 'BAD NEWS' printed on a print-your-own-shirt stall when such things existed, circa about 1987, but my earliest proper merch were these, can't remember which came first: (Was complimented on this shirt by a face-tattooed gyppo who worked on a Waltzer.) (Was a MAD Magazine freak aged 12, so flipped my lid when I saw Mort Drucker had drawn Anthrax.) Also had an Iron Maiden one with the band name in stone letters coming out of Eddie's mouth, but I'm not sure how to search for the image.

I think it was back in 2001, It was a white shirt with this and Iron Maiden written in the closest word 97 standard font to the Iron Maiden font

 Re: Your first band t-shirt
My first ever shirt was a Saxon one, back in 82. Followed quickly by Motörhead and Iron Maiden. First piece of merch bought would have been a Damage Inc tour tee with the Master of Puppets album cover on the front and all the dates on the back. Of course, not all those dates went ahead sadly.

 Re: Your first band t-shirt
An early one I really soiled myself over: I'd just popped into a little gift shop while on holiday in Devon, there were a few t-shirts on a rack (Garfield, Bros, My Friends Went To Devon And All They Bought Me Was This Lousy T-Shirt, that sort of thing) and this was one of them. I almost definitely still have it in a box in a loft somewhere. I dug it out in the late 90s, it was bloody tight but I still just about had the physique to pull it off, if I breathed in.

 Re: Your first band t-shirt
Pretty sure it was this, but on a black T-shirt: After that, probably generic, unofficial, not-even-close-to-actual-artwork Guns N' Roses and Bon Jovi ones (the Bon Jovi one had "we came, we saw, we kicked your ass" in giant yellow letters on the back) and, naturally, Iron Maiden:

 Re: Your first band t-shirt
This is hard!!! But we are talking like almost thirty years ago... jesus!
I vaguely remember buying a crappy 'outside the venue' shirt when I went to see Kiss in 1984, but I refuse to believe that was my first shirt. But I can't remember what else it could have been. I remember my friend Vaggy having a cool Venom shirt in 1984/5... the bastard.
Probably the coolest shirt I had over the years was the Mandatory Suicide one with the guy hanging in his bedroom, that and the Slayer eagle one, they were pretty cool.

 Re: Your first band t-shirt
I wore this one a lot: Also, a bootleg Damage Inc. one and a black & white Rust In Peace one that I got outside the 1990 Megadeth gig.

 Re: Your first band t-shirt
Was either a Metallica '...And Justice For All' or a Sepultura 'Arise' tee. Can't remember which one I got first. I still have the very faded Metallica one, pretty sure the Sepultura got a massive rip down the side that I was probably devasted about at the time because I felt so badass when I wore that shirt back in the day.

 Re: Your first band t-shirt
Same here. Bought it the same day as this one. Well, almost that one. Mine had the same size/colour print on the back but it said I AM THE LAW. This was my first Slayer shirt. Can't remember what year I bought it.
