New Cathedral comes out in the States on Tuesday so I'm excited for that.

I've had that Cathedral for two weeks and still not listened to it. Not to rub it in or anything

The new Cathedral is indeed kick ass.

The only new one I can think of offhand is the new 1349 album which is apparently a return to their black metal roots. Probably loads more but I tend just to read the news sites therefore only finding out a week or so before it is released, loads of bands I like could be releasing - I just don't know about it.

That game has been out a while. It's a very original game too, no monsters or anything in it and it's a "Survival Horror/Thriller/Drama" deals with issues such as rape, child abuse and so on. Pretty eerie but entertaining all the same. :) The artwork is from the game too.

1349 - Demonoir, Anathema - We're Here Because We're Here, The Meads Of Asphodel - The Murder Of Jesus The Jew, & Danzig - Deth Red Sabaoth are all high on my list at the moment.

Sounds like the start of a joke, in which they all go into a bar and someone punches Danzig.

I believe there may be new Atheist and Watchtower albums coming out at some point. That's about enough excitement for one year.

Ron Jarzombek from Watchtower, Alex Webster from Cannibal Corpse, and some drummer doing instrumental tech-metal. Only one album I think.

The BLOTTED SCIENCE drummer is Charlie Zeleny from BEHOLD...THE ARCTOPUS. It's effing amazing stuff. Jarzombek might be taking the taco as the most creative guitar player in the last 20 years. His high speed timing is ungodly and though I wasn't crazy about Webster's ability to keep up with him, he has the chops to get it done.
