A song that almost perfectly exemplifies every hackneyed cliche, excess and bad idea that they have use from time to time since 1990. The DOD title track was the best example of these before this one came along to trump it.

And yet, they are great songs. Go figure....

Even Dance Of Death is better by far than anything Metallica have put out since then, you cloth-eared spaz.

Nah. The s/t and Load are certainly better than DOD.

Why doesn't everyone hate DOD, it's clearly the worst reunion Maiden album.

Fixed.

Of course it is. In fact, if you trimmed Load and ReLoad down, you'd have a 3/5 album. Which is +1 on DOD.

I'm (now) abstaining from this thread, because it's full of bullshit and bollocks, other than PK's interjections (in the main - a couple of other valid points).

Set of cloth-eared cunts and wankers talking incorrect shit.

Aye there is too much trying to be controversial pish going on.
Maiden have, and never will, do no wrong. That's all there is to it.

Steev and WATP are completely right, of course, and fuck all the idol-smashing nonsense on this thread up the arse, but...

"Never", WATP? Really? I don't want to have to remind you of a certain divine messanger and an individual who plays games of chance for money.

I have no idea what you are on about, PK. There were no Iron Maiden albums released between 1993 and 1999.

You're a right clever chap. I got this one thankfully. Is it really a terrible song though? I can only remember the chorus but it didn't seem that bad.

Steev won't even admit it exists, and you know some of the things he likes.

I can't reply as to do so would be to admit it's existence, but if such a song did exist, and I did reply about it, it would be to say such a hypothetical song was bad Status Quo FOR 9 FUCKING MINUTES with a shit parpy organ on it. And a dreadful chorus. But not as a bad as a bit that might go "Dontcha think I could save you (repeat ad infinitum), dontcha think I could save your life".

Only a song called Virus, which also doesn't exist, could be worse.

RATS IN THE CELLAR. YOU KNOW THAT YOU ARE!

But fortunately Maiden split up in 1992, reforming in 2000 and did none of those things

Opinions are like arseholes; some people's are prolapsed and cancerous.

I think El Dorado, Where the wild wind blows and Dance of death are great songs and far superior to coming Home and Blood Brothers.

Dance Of Death sounded brilliant live, as did Wicker Man.
