 Re: (Not So) Guilty Pleasures
i am at work so can't link to youtube, but check out coon hunting by vaginal jesus, so fucking over the top.
Any band i think of with the really strong lyrics tend to be bands who propogate the nazi image without being actual nazis.

 Re: (Not So) Guilty Pleasures
I've found myself quite enjoying Burzum's first prison released synth album "Dauði Baldrs" from 1997 this week despite the needlessly extended track lengths & incredibly cheap sounding MIDI/synth sounds.

The synth stuff on Filosofem was about as far as I got but I never clicked with the prison stuff. Might have to give it a try.

I think it is good background music, or chill out music that lets the mind wander. I don't play it often but it has it's place most definitely.

"Hliðskjálf" was a definite step up from "Dauði Baldrs". I really enjoy it these days to be honest.

 Re: (Not So) Guilty Pleasures
I suppose these are what some here may deem "guilty pleasures", but as a few have already said, I don't believe in such things:
Drive by Truckers Bruce Springsteen Some Bon Jovi songs e.g. Blood on Blood, Dry County, Let it Rock etc The Eagles Toto Don Henley: Boys of Summer 80s rock pop, such as John Farnham, John Parr etc Amy MacDonald

 Re: (Not So) Guilty Pleasures
There's certainly no shame in appreciating Bruce Springsteen's music. Drive-By Truckers too.
