There's enough variation for me. They're not genre hopping like Mr Bungle but the fact that they have such great vocal melodies over fast downstroked barre chords really impresses me.
Havana Affair and KKK took my baby away would be my favourites at the moment.

Preaching to the choir there mate! Love em. The first four albums are among my favourites ever, and I really love Subterranean Jungle and Too Tough To Die, and the others all have a couple of classic tracks too.

At the moment I am loving Wart Hog, Tomorrow She Goes Away, the live versions of 'Too Tough to Die', I Don't Want To Grow Up, and as always, I'm Against It and Commando, which are my most played songs.

As for Pink, she has a great figure --but musically she is bloody boring. She is one of those pop 'artists' that fancies herself a real 'eclectic' type because she puts on a number of different uniforms without committing to anything but the end result is ultimately superficial, even for pop.

I guess in some ways we can blame Michael Jackson for artists that use rock guitars in pop songs as appendages, but at least he had the good sense to actually hire quality musicians that had status in the genre. e.g Eddie Van Halen, Slash. That's because Jackson was at least self aware enough musically to know his place. He never thought of himself as 'rock', it wasn't his universe, but he liked to dabble in it occasionally with the help of experts. Pink, on the other hand, tries to market herself as the 'cool rock chick' but she just comes off like a manly tryhard.

The 'cool rock chick' thing almost never works. Maybe Courtney Love pulled it off back in her heyday but the rest didn't.

Agree with all of that.

I wonder if Beckham used to play BBB before Man U games? Maybe he stuck 'Piranha' on before strumping Rebecca Loos?

Pffft, he's never heard an Exodus album in his life - although his wifes solo career was a a fabulous disaster...

Nah, too cheap a pun.

And 'Piranha' is a much better song.

I liked Devil's Rejects and Lords Of Salem but the rest can do one...

I hated Devil's Rejects because it was too real and treated bunch of assholes like heroes just because they tortured and mutilated some Christians.

I haven't watched Lords of Salem. I would only to see the nude chicks if any.

The first film was entertaining because it was so ridiculous. Even more entertaining was the DVD menus with all the ranting.

I like Brain Drain.

But nothing else those guys ever did. Gimme Kiss over The Ramones any day.

Interesting anecdote - my mate auditioned for Rob Zombie's backing band as a bass player back in the early 00's. Ultimately, he failed the audition, but managed to hang around Zombie for long enough to get the gyst of what sort of person he was.

And the gyst was that he was a "pretentious cunt".

Zombie's arrogance is almost legendary at this point. A woman I used to know had to interview him once and said he was 'difficult'.

I was lucky enough to see fudge tunnel twice in the early 90's, Newport is fucking tiny in real life.

I only know Smudge Funnel's Cream cover! Never liked grunge except STP but I appreciated SG live!

First time I saw them there was 6 people there, second time around 30.
