Well he wants to watch his diet and buy some t shirts.

Not as bad as Jerry Only's devil lock these days, it starts from the back of his neck.

Danzig is 60 for Christs sake.

New Black Breath and Kylesa are 'available', if anyone's bothered. Acquiring the latter at the moment.

Danzig needs to release a gothic blues rock album already, sans the metal.

Danzig's music is piss poor without the line up of Eerie Von, Chuck Biscuits and John Christ.

The last album was really good IMO, but that line-up was the best by far obviously.

I think if, like Statters says, if he does the gothic blues thing, he could discover a whole new creative peak.

I haven't heard the last one one. IV was the last record I played more than once.

It's time for him to move on. There is really nowhere for him to go in metal. He peaked decades ago and while he has released some interesting music since the mid 90's, nothing really compares to the first four albums.

As good as the last album was, I think he should have moved in that gothic blues direction after Circle Of Snakes.

I hope the music is as good as the album cover.

Both the debut and How The Gods Kill are superior to Lucifuge. They're the only three worth bothering with, though.

The first 3 are essential. The 4th one is a very worthy addition to one's collection. It contains some of his best work, but there are more throwaways than on the first 3 albums.

As for his post IV material, I think 666, I Luciferi and Deth Red Saboath are pretty solid albums.

The fourth album never did anything for me and, of the subsequent ones, I thought Circle Of Snakes was OK. Forgettable to poor after that.

Not sure this'll go down that well here but the new Black Breath album is out tomorrow and I've not heard anything from it yet so strongly anticipating that. I've heard one track off the new Clutch record and it's fucking raging so looking forward to that too.

Pretty sure a few like Black Breath.

What I've heard I've liked.

Ah, I seem to remember a lot of "if I want to listen to Entombed, I'll listen to Entombed" etc gags when Sentenced To Life came out, but maybe I'm imagining some of those.

Candiria will release a new album on Metal Blade in early 2016.
