BLACKLORRE: I heard a song from that SUP album the other day and it sounded really bad to me. Normally I quite enjoy their music, but it sounds like a step in the wrong direction.

I think the 3 songs I've heard are ace - going back to Room 7 / Hegemony sound. (My 2 favourite SUP albums) Which did you hear?

The one on their website. Sounds like their late 90s stuff, just not as good

Have mixed feelings about that one, at least based on the album teaser. Vocals sound a bit generic, but I'll definitely give it shot because musically those guys are quite talented.
I miss Byron's lyrics, but I understand why they no longer play with him. Apparently he was a major stumbling block and a big reason why Bal Sagoth stopped releasing albums and going on regular tours.

Apparently the new October Tide album will be more aggressive/death metal-y. It's suppose to be out May 17th. Could be interesting.
