Looking forward to the new MDB album out on Friday. You can't beat listening to them on a nice sunny day.

I like the opening track and the title track and there's some decent doom on the latter part of the album

All in all I'm in no hurry to own it

I reckon it's easily their best since Songs Of Darkness..., if not The Dreadful Hours.

How many fists Solaris? Your comments have made me even more optimistic.

I'll say 3.5/5 for now. It reminds me of The Angel And The Dark River and The Dreadful Hours, it's certainly their heaviest for a while, too.

Cheers!

Now that's what I like to hear!

I've usually overestimated their releases but 3.5 is accurate.

I've been sent a copy of that to review.
It's got three or four brilliant songs which stand out straight away but I'll need a few more listens before I start scribbling about it.

8-) Harsh Times On Planet Stoked is great! It does sound heavier live than the snippet. Flesh has been playing in my head. I like this band.

Had no idea they were still going. Under the radar band if there ever was one.

Two of my favourites there.
I've spun it about ten times now and the top 5 tracks for me are:

1. Harsh Times on Planet Stoked
2. Flesh
3. Brian
4. I Want to Wanna Wake Up
5. Mania

Here's the thing though.
They're all good.

Grandaddy are recording a new album. THey said they weren't going to, but they finally caved in.

Can't wait.

The 3rd Frost* album, despite Jem stating there wouldn't be another one...i'm sure it'll be mighty fine, and hopefully might get a little sneak peek at the Lonely Robots gig in December...

Glen really needs to invest in some t-shirts.

He's no longer his 30 year old steroid filled former self.

His body held up until he was in his mid 40's. It was downhill after that, but that's to be expected.
