They did a third if you count 'Evolution', the stable with Triple H, Randy Orton and Ric Flair.

I've been listening to Another Perfect Day. Solid album, Four Fists.

EDIT: I think Batista was in the same stable.

Ah right. I don't follow wrasslin' but I've come across those two I mentioned a few times.

I've got the following Motorhead albums: Ace Of Spades, Overkill, Orgasmatron, Inferno and Kiss Of Death.

I'm not interested in buying all of their albums, but I wouldn't mind owning 2-3 more. Which ones should I buy next? I'm guessing Iron Fist?

I find "Iron Fist" to be my least played Motorhead album. I just don't enjoy it as much as the rest I have - it seems rushed (which sounds bonkers considering that tends to be how they wrote) and empty in feel.

I'd add Bomber to that collection and prob 1916 and Sacrifice.

Rock N' Roll is great. No Sleep as well of course. Inferno and Another Perfect Day too.

Bomber, definitely. Bad Magic is pretty damn good and I like Iron Fist. I know I'min the minority but I found 1916 to be their worst, by a long way.

In before 'LOL Sol you so wacky'...

It's among my top3. So, it's either shit or great.

Rock n' Roll and Another Perfect Day are also excellent recommendations but I would definitely go for 1916 and Bomber first.

Of their studio albums, I would recommend you explore these next:

01. Bomber
02. Bastards
03. Another Perfect Day

You should have "No Sleep 'Til Hammersmith" as well. It's just one of those compulsory live albums like "Live After Death" which you need, regardless of how many studio albums you have.

It's just me who thinks it's good but not great, then? I preferred No Sleep At All, TBH.

Bomber [often overshadowed by the albums around it, but some really good songs on there]

No Sleep Til' Hammersmith [classic live album]

Another Perfect Day [very consistent and with a more melodic edge to it than the rest of their discography thanks to Brian Robertson's guitar playing]

Bastards [very consistent, lean and mean]

Also buy the live album they put out about 20 years back called Everything Louder Than Everyone Else, that's a ferocious beast of a record.

The Stone Deaf Forever box set is worth getting if you see it, as a kind of super-compilation.

"No Sleep 'Til Hammersmith" doesn't sound as sharp as Motorhead's later live albums, but it was recorded 35 years ago. "No Sleep At All" was the first Motorhead album I got, and while it's heavier, I still think the material on "No Sleep 'Til Hammersmith" is superior. The later live albums solved that by being double album greatest hits type things.

I love the historical significance of "No Sleep 'Til Hammersmith". Most "histories" of heavy metal seem to forget this album came out of nowhere and hit the top of the charts in 1981.

Just coming to the end of my first listen to Everything Louder Than Everyone Else now and it blows those two out of the water IMO. Lemmy's voice is a bit fucked toward the end but overall it sounds amazing, they're on serious form. Almost makes me wish I'd seen them live. Almost.

No Sleep 'Til Hammersmith is great title for a live album.
