Please set me free from this Delirium! I am going to listen to it but I prefer The Slot/Nookie these days.

LC can 'eat my shorts', to quote Bart Simpson. Such a dull and safe song. Where is the idea?

That deathcore/groove/stop-start/whatever style they've adopted sounds really jarring and obnoxious. Not a good fit for them at all.Might help them shift a few more records in america though, which i'm guessing is the plan.

I wouldn't say it's awful, but it's not a great sound for them.

They shouldn't be too concerned about the US market now, because that ship sailed 10 years ago.

after your comment I listened to this track, and this is real shit to me. I would go and listen Limp Bizkit, rather this pseudo-metal for modern young blokes, absolutely empty song.

Empty is a good word for it Tragic. It is bloody empty, barren, a total creative void. I liked Lacuna Coil in their early days (i.e their e.p and In A Reverie), they really stood out, then I lost interest for a while until around the time of Comalies and Karmacode, but they haven't released that much of interest since, even if their last two albums had their moments.

Their desperation is palpable nowadays. It's just sad really. They have no idea what direction they want to go in musically and have even less of an idea about how to go about it.

Yeah.. I like some songs on Karmacode, some from their first release and In A Reviere sounds dinamic to me. LC got much, but how they should use it? Good times is definately lost for them.

I like Christina's acoustic records too.

1st EP is brilliant, next 2 albums decent then everything after that is fucking appalling.

Aye it's like they're going for a sound that they think is popular but not really sure.

Comalies is 'appalling'? Really?

I really liked the e.p and first album and then got put off them until Comalies then I was back onboard until Shallow Life.

Their last two albums were decent, but they aren't the band they once were.

Near enough, I just remember it was when they changed their sound to the sort of popular nu metal sound at the time. Been a downward spiral ever since.

That didn't happen until Karmacode. Comalies did represent a bit of a shift away from their previous Euro goth metal sound, but it doesn't sound 'American', for lack of a better word.
