Post Albums you are most looking forward to in 2017...
Please state the reason/s why too.

METAL:

DANZIG: Danzig has been hit and miss for a long time, but he always releases albums that are interesting to me. He will release two albums next year, a metal one and a covers one (Elvis), and I'm sure that both will contain some gems.

ROCK:

OXBOW: The Thin Black Duke will be their first album of new material since The Narcotic Story, which came out in 2007. That's a long break between albums. They always deliver the goods and are one of the few bands of their generation that get better with time.

GRANDADDY: Last Place will be their first album since Just Like The Fambly Cat in 2006, which was put together while the band were on the verge of splitting up. Now they have reformed and if the two new songs they released are anything to go by, they haven't missed a beat.

There are plenty of albums I'm curious about, like the new Septic Flesh, Immortal etc, but I can wait.

I seem to remember someone mentioning a new Bad Religion out next year. The last one was pretty good, so may be worth looking forward to.

Shaarimoth - Temple of the Adversarial Fire. Their other album from 2005 is a brilliant and underrated technical death metal album.
Aborym - Shifting.Negative. Always interested in new Aborym albums, although they appear to have turned into a NIN tribute act from the samples I've heard.
Cnoc an Tursa - The Forty Five. Their first album was good, slightly ruined by annoying shouty vocals, hopefully they've improved.
Sepultura - Machine Messiah. I'm one of the few who likes the Derrick albums and I like the preview songs from this.
The Great Old Ones - EOD: A Tale of Dark Legacy. The other albums are great, and I'm sure this will be also.
Nokturnal Mortum - Verity. Their last album is a classic, so will be interesting to see if they can top it.

You'd be interested in this actully - there's a new Blood Feast supposed to be coming out next month. Maybe you knew already. I think it's been in the pipeline for a while now.

Good. The last one wasn't too great. Let's hope this is an improvement.

Slowdive, Anathema and Les Discrets are all I can think right now. I've gotten so out of the loop when it comes to music recently.
