The Carnifex cover would be halfway tolerable if it wasn't for those fucking drums!

All Emperor covers were good. In fact, the only good song Peccatum made was the end of their cover of For All Those Who Died when Ihsahn sang.

I also like it when High on Fire cover 'witching hour' live. And Faith No More's War Pigs is a great cover

That Slayer cover of Born To Be Wild is truly appalling. Slayer aren't much good at covers in general IMO, apart from Dissident Aggressor, and even that pales in comparison to the original. It may be heavier, but Halford's vocal cannot be matched for sheer "FUCK YEAH" punch the air awesomeness.

I disagree. Undisputed Attitude is probably my favourite Slayer album.

Sweet divine fuck, what is the world coming to? The vast majority of that album is an exercise in pointlessness. Seriously, they didn't add a thing to the originals, it just sounds like a halfhearted uninspired second rate Slayer album. The Stooges cover makes me want to slap Kerry Kings big bald head in a Benny Hill comedy manner. You would seriously choose that over Hell Awaits, Reign In Blood or South Of Heaven? Even the originals were underwhelming.

Melt Banana's Surfin' USA is pretty good too.

Best cover they ever done though was 'We Will Rock You' from the Queen tribute album they were included on.

Who was it that was adamant Raining Blood actually started halfway through Post Mortem because the original cd was wrongly pressed?
That one had me chuckling for ages.
