Laibach are a bit like Non - you know they cannot be entirely taken seriously and there is a hefty dose of tongue in cheek-ness about them but at the same time it is played deadly serious. My issue with Laibach is more the gradual decline in quality since the nineties, the question is whether the gimmick of radically reinventing the cover version only had a limited life and they over played their hand. Certainly I would happily listen to their early albums (Let it be, Opus Dei, Sympathy etc) but then they started to get dull and increasingly irrelevant.
