Bit rich for my blood. I wonder if the Charvel's are in the collection? Although, I imagine they were dispensed with sometime around 1989/90 or so.

It's people like them that make supporting Trump all the more worthwhile.

Although Lopez is more bangable than Trump. And Streep.

More 'oh dear' material:

http://www.rollingstone.com/music/lists ... ms-w485479

More the fact that three of the bands are rock 'n' roll - four if you count Motorhead as such, which Lemmy did, so... - and not metal than the choices, which are fairly safe, for the most part.

Rob Zombie aside, it is fairly obvious and respectable.

Not that I have anything against Rob Zombie, just that I wouldn't have expected that to make the list considering the other choices.

And at least he didn't pick Korn or worse still, fucking Slipknot.

I like Hellbilly Deluxe a lot, but it isn't even a top ten metal album of its release year (1998) let alone of all time unless you severely restrict the parameters. i.e major label metal albums of 98.

It was probably my second favourite 'mainstream' metal album of 98 after SOAD though. Certainly better than Obsolete and it's at least even with Soulfly's debut.

Raining blood starts with the rain/thunder, not before.

I was being sarcastic. It has been a point of contention in the past. It clearly starts with the thunder.

I'm pleased it was sarcasm, I was pacing the floor muttering over such a thought ha ha.

On Wikipedia (the undisputed source of all knowledge, that has never been known to be wrong...EVER!) states:
Quote:
The reissue also fixed a problem with some CD pressings which incorrectly set the beginning of "Raining Blood" into the blank pause in "Postmortem".

I will admit though, having listened to "Reign In Blood" a billion times over the years, that ending of "Postmortem" going into "Raining Blood" is frickin' awesome. It is hard to imagine "Raining Blood" with (the whole of) "Postmortem" preceding it for me.

Also, in that Body Count clip, they done messed up and put "Postmortem" at the end of "Raining Blood".

If metal is so 'macho' why do some songs give me goosebumps & make me cry? I don't cry when I get beaten up!
