Cheers LC!

Well Leicester was a bit pointless to be honest. I think we got 2 or 3 people through the door, who were there to see a different band to us and the other bands turned their backs and talked amongst themselves while we were on, which really annoys me but hey ho. Durham in under 3 weeks which should be better attended and it's at the Fishtank which is tiny so even 10 people make that place look full.

Cheers Myr! I'm looking forward to that one. I always wanted to play the fishtank. It's tiny but the atmosphere is always good.

Well Durham was a bit of a disaster. We told the promoter that we wouldn't play through the Fishtank's PA as it only has 2 working input jacks and sounds like shit. He said it wouldn't be a problem as he'd bring his own, which turned out to be a small black box that he plugged into the Fishtank's speakers which actually ended up sounding worse that the venue's own. We played anyway but couldn't hear the vocals or drums, we had to cut our set shortin the end. then the headline band were told they couldn't go on because the venue was double booked and it was time for the Feminist Society's monthly DJ night.

Anyway, two last minute gigs:

Feb 7th - Blythe and Tyne - Blythe with The Fiend
Feb 8th - The Old Angel - Nottingham with Foul Body Autopsy

A feminist meeting is far more engaging and interesting than watching most Metal bands though.

Post Re: Twice The Trauma
We did a couple of good gigs at the weekend. Friday was the Blythe and Tyne in Blythe supporting The Fiend. I was a bit trepidacious about this one as The Fiend are a old school punk band that have been going since 1982 and it was going to be infront of a punk audience who probably didn't want to see two idiots and a drum machine covered in blood singing sings about getting your face fried off in a deep fat fryer. We ended up going over quite well if not brilliantly.
Saturday was the clincher though, I didn't know what to expect as we'd played Leicester twice in the last few months to very few people. As Nottingham is just up the road I thought it might be the same but i was totally wrong, we went on to a half filled room and by a few songs in the room was packed and everyone down the front was going mental, many glasses got smashed and by the end people were shouting along even though they'd never heard us before. Got loads of good feedback afterwards and we left Nottingham with massive heads.

We (along with our mates in Tintagel) have a track included on Disciples Of Extremity 4 the latest compilation from UKEM records. All proceeds go to Help For Heroes.

Played my home town for the first time last Friday. Ha, let's just say that Newton Aycliffe is not ready for a two man drum machine grind band.
