Wankers. Anaesthesia - Pulling Teeth is one of the most audacious, distinctive and unorthodox pieces of music this band ever recorded. "YEAh but it aint got a chorus so it can't be better than a song wiv a chorus, ungh my brain hurts." .

Aneathesia is not really a song!

So, 'Genghis Khan', 'Merciless Onslaught' and all that shit can be ignored, then?

Yeah, "not really a song" is a silly opinion.

Didn't Cliff used to play Anaesthesia when he was with Trauma?

Yet completely accurate. It's a solo (for the most part, drums do come in later) and has no place on an album. It's bad enough when bands crank them out onstage but on an album? Fuck off, leave the wanking for your bedroom. Foot-stomping, look-what-I-can-do bollocks.

Something similar by the looks, although the ending is straight out of Anaesthesia.

Only the most foreskin-brained deaf idiot vegetable would lump Anaesthesia - Pulling Teeth in with the aimless widdling of most metal musicians' idea of a solo. It's an extraordinary and unprecedented showcase for the highly individual style of one of the best bass players of all time, and THANK FUCK it exists actually, as the man playing it was dead 3 years later and so few of us got to see him live.

Of course it's 'not a song', who gives a fucking fuck. These fundamentally flawed 'survivor' threads don't half expose a lot of willy-drooling spastic braindead horseshit.

I went for Motorbreath. If you want a dull example of a plodder on this album, there you go.

Anaeasthesia is wonderful, I never tire of Seek and Destroy so I think I'll go for Phantom Lord.

Ok - I've decided to run this. One song to go per round - rounds run 24 hours. I'll change the format when we get to the crappy albums....

Oh...and Lulu will be excluded....

Are you really going to do St Anger?

2 cracking posts from Chantler in which he wins this thread. But unfortunately loses overall as an incredible track is packing its bags to go home first. Boo.

We would be better off with a single round for that one for "Least Shit Song".

I wonder how many people dismissed 'Lulu' without hearing a note of it. I'm probably guilty of that too but last week I listened to the "I am the table" song and it wasn't as awful as I had expected. It was just disjointed, with Lou Reed rabbiting on over a standard slow metal riff.
I'm not in a hurry to buy it but then I've heard worse.
