There seems to be no such thing as Goth music, Goth is a way of doing things so the music is post Punk, Punk, Rock, Industrial, Electro pop, Metal etcetera but done in a Goth way. The music is just a vehicle for the rest of the art form to ride on.
It's probably more complicated than that but that's as far as I have got.
