Overrated/Underrated
Ever loved an album which everyone else is slating , or hated one that everyone loves, talk about it here.
Personally, I like "vanity/Nemesis" alot more than most people seem to," Dark Side Of The Moon" is one of my least favourite Pink Floyd albums, and I still can't see how "Murderworks" is so highly rated, I much prefer "Exit" "CTC" and "Cycles"

Re: Overrated/Underrated
As much as I love Iron Maiden, I think Piece Of Mind is quite overrated. If it wasn't for The Trooper and Revelations, I'd never listen to it.
Very much so. Not that they're bad. They were just pegged as the saviours of music for a while. I don't think they ever had a 5 fist album personally. Anyway...

Remission was their closest to it with Blood Mountain close behind.
I always thought that Red Harvest are seriously under-rated en masse.

Malibu, are you ever going to spell their name correctly? It's Mastodon.
Underrated (At least in accordance with the T-forum): Amon Amarth.

I like Amon Amarth, I only have one album and suspect that's all I'll ever need.

I don't know, 'Blood Mountain' flew by me and apart from a couple of songs, I don't really care for it much.
Blood Mountain, with exception of Sleeping Giant, was bollocks.

Circle Of Cysquatch, bollocks? Capillarian Crest? No way. Hand Of Stone and the one about the lizards towards the end are a bit average, but some of the best stuff they've ever done is on Blood Mountain.

Re: Overrated/Underrated
As with a lot of Mastodon, they always have some phat riffs, but as an over all album 'Blood Mountain' didn't make much of an impact on me as Leviathan, Remission or Crack the Skye.
