Flayed Disciple - Free CD
I prefer my free CDs to be in a jewel case or digi-pak rather than a slip envelope that makes it look like a promo copy, put a hole in the bar code if you want, at least it will look and feel like a real "free CD".
But anyway, I'm digging it. Don't care for the gore but I like the music and vocals and it certainly has got me more interested in the band than I otherwise would've gotten. If they do a good enough job at Bloodstock and not playing during one of the bands I'm desperate to see then they might win me over as a fan.
Free CD = good idea!

Re: Flayed Disciple - Free CD
I quite like the Flayed Disciple album, I think the Bloodshot Dawn one from a couple of months ago was a lot better though...
I really like the idea of giving away whole albums, and the cardboard sleeves don't bother me, I've got hundreds of demos and promos in cardboard sleeves...
I'm glad you like these, I'd do a jewel case or digipack but I just KNOW they'd get annihilated in the postal system.

I thought she looked like the head of the English department at a high school, though perhaps that says more about the school I went to than her..

Digipack would survive. jewel case might get cracked a bit but they're easy and cheap enough to replace. Maybe a slip case over the jewel case would solve that problem. I got my Devin Townsend CDs no problem.
